Miss Louisiana United States 2010 SelectedJanuary 26, 2010 Jennifer Nichole Connor, a native of New Orleans and alumnus of Tulane University, is the newly titled Miss Louisiana United States 2010 and will go on to compete for the Miss United States title in Las Vegas this summer. Jennifer is a former Tulane cheerleader and was on the Tulane University Dean's List. She is currently pursuing a career in television as a News Anchor & Entertainment Reporter and recently completed an internship with the CW Network at CW 39 News in Houston, TX. Jennifer was recently selected by the Page Parkes Corporation into the Center of Modeling & Acting, a company who helped train some of the biggest stars in Hollywood such as Angelina Jolie, Shemar Moore, Hilary Dufff and Tyson Beckford. This past year Jennifer has featured in several news segments for CW 39 News including Mia Gradney's Style Files and also served as a commercial spokesperson for Houston Video Yellow Pages. Jennifer is currently a graduate student and is pursuing her Masters online in order to fulfill her duties this year as Miss Louisiana United States 2010. She is the founder of Starlette Cheerleading & Dance which she started as a teen back in 2001 and holds clinics throughout the state of Louisiana and Texas for young girls. Throughout this year, Jennifer will serve as a role model and ambassador for the state of Louisiana. During her reign, she will visit schools and talk to students of all ages about how important it is to continue their education, setting goals and how to achieve them.
